Whistler recently introduced a brand-new attraction to its repertoire: the gravity-defying “Peak2Peak” Gondola. Spanning the valley between Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains, this record-breaking transportation system is an 11-minute journey from one peak to the other, providing incredible panoramic views of the surrounding area. The two mountains provide thousands of acres of terrain for even the most discerning of snow athletes, yet many runs are suitable for all abilities. From new beginners to hot doggers, everyone is sure to have a wonderful experience on the slopes of these mountains. Blackcomb has fast, fun rolling cruisers down its front face, terrain parks, and thrilling off-piste descents on its back side. Whistler has wide-open, go-anywhere terrain, including the 11-km (6.8-mile) “Peak to Creek” trail, the secluded Harmony Bowl and a series of steeper bowls with bumps and narrow chutes through the trees for the ultimate exhilarating experience.
